How to renew or replace a kenyan passport.

Is your Kenyan passport lost, mutilated or has expired, then you must apply for a new passport.This is how to get a new one;

Requirements for an expired/mutilated pasport.
1.A duly filled passport application form.
2. The expired, filled up or mutilated passport being replaced and its copy.
3. Three coloured passport size photographs of the applicant. One of the photos must be certified by the person recommending the applicant.
4. A certified copy of the ID of the person recommending.
NOTE:To replace an expired passport attracts a fee of ksh 4,000,ksh 6500 and ksh 7500 for an A series,B series,C series respectively and for a mutilated passort ksh 10,000

Requirements for replacing a lost passport
1. A duly filled passport application form.
2. Original Birth Certificate of the applicant.
3. Three coloured passport size photographs of the applicant. One of the photos must be certified by the person recommending the applicant.
4. A certified copy of the ID of the person recommending.
5. An affidavit detailing the circumstances under which the loss of the passport occurred.
6. A Kenya police abstract.
7. A letter explaining the circumstances of the loss of the passport.
NOTE: This attracts a fee of kshs 12,000 payeable by bankers cheque.
